Fernando Martins
Born in Portugal, Fernando hails from a motorsports family and has been around cars since he could barely crawl. After the usual start in karting, he moved to England to pursue his dream of a motorsports career. After stints in Formula Ford, Touring cars and GT, sanity got the better of him and he concentrated on building a career in the cruise industry. Work brought him to the US where he settled in Miami, and with the traveling bug satisfied, and the desire to do something different, a career change to Facilities Management was an opportunity not to be passed up. This gave Fernando the opportunity to continue to race sporadically in karts. When not racing Fernando’s favorite past times are spending time with his 6 year old daughter, traveling, scuba diving and enjoying life.

Chris McCoy
Chris McCoy is a lifelong Georgian and motorsports enthusiast. In 1997, he moved off the sideline and graduated from the Skip Barber Racing School. Shortly thereafter he discovered indoor karting and then Endurance Karting competitions. He raced indoor leagues for 10 years winning a Championship in the top class, competed in seven 24 hour karting races, and numerous 6 hour races until taking a leave of absence in 2013 when he purchased Endurance Karting, the organizer of most of his outdoor races. Since that time, Chris has continued to compete in leagues at Lanier Raceplex and Atlanta Motorsports Park with his last endurance race being the 2019 Simcraft 24. Alzheimer’s has significantly impacted his family and he is thankful to be able to contribute in helping stop this terrible disease.

Perry Herndon
Perry Herndon joined End Alzheimer’s racing for the Jacksonville Grand Prix, and helped lead the team to overall victory. Perry grew up working on cars with his dad and has been racing karts since the age of 12. The 2021 Simcraft 24 will be Perry's twelfth 24 hour kart race with multiple podium finishes, including 4 overall wins. He is a graduate of both the Panoz and Skip Barber racing schools and is a registered United States Patent Attorney who works as Senior Corporate Counsel for Cisco Systems in Atlanta, GA. Perry is the father of 9 year old twin girls and a 3 year old son.
